We are thrilled to announce the release of DriveLock version 2024.2! This new version brings a host of exciting new features, alongside bug fixes and performance enhancements. Important Information

Adjusted role permission checks on groups and policy collections. Role permissions for groups are now checked within the context of the specific group.
Previously, it was possible to add or remove computers in any group, even if the user only had permissions for a specific group. In version 2024.2, the permission checks have been adjusted to respect restrictions to the assigned group. To grant permissions across all groups, use the global "Manage groups" permission. The same applies to policy collections, where the "Manage policy collection" permission is now checked accordingly.
In cases where you limit access to groups or OUs it´s necessary to introduce a policy collection for policy handling, if rights for computers and policies are in one role.

- You can download Agent 24.2 manually now.
- Auto-Update is active in all environments, so customers with Auto-Update enabled will automatically receive the new version.
